Industrial Heating/Cooling Coils

Many variations of Coil construction are available as some are more appropriate for some applications over others. Applications include Intake Air Heating/Cooling, Process Gas Heating/Cooling, Ambient Air Cooling of Oil, Water & other Process Fluids. Some coils are incorporated as components for Packaged Heating and Cooling Heat Exchangers (i.e. Radiators, Condensers, etc.) Some common Construction Types include:
Plate-Fin Coils
Consisting of corrugated 'Plate' Fins which are easily stacked onto and are in contact with all of the Tubes ina Coil simultaneously.
Spiral-Wound Coils
Individual 'Spiral' Fins are wrapped around each individual Tube from one end of the Tube to the other.
L-Foot Finned Coils
Specially fabricated 'L-Foot' Fins are assembled onto each Tube, increasing 'surface-to-surface' contact between the Fin and Tube.
Welded & Copper-Soldered Fin Coils
Similar to Spiral and L-Foot designs with a welded or soldered bond between the Tube and Fin.
Extruded Fin Coils
Dual Tube design where the outer tube is hydraulically extruded to create a pressure bond between Tube and Fin.
The most appropriate Coil construction will insure many trouble-free years of proper operation.
